Outdoor Activities

There's something fun for the whole family, including camping, safe sandy beaches for swimming, walking trails, a children's fishing pond, playgrounds, beachfront picnic shelters, boat and motor rentals, pontoons, paddle boats, canoes, kayaks and aqua bikes. We are next door to the Chippewa National Forest, which is home to a biker's paradise - the Migizi Trail.

Fishing on Cass Lake

Fishing is among one of the most popular outdoor activities in our area. We're lucky to say that you may enjoy some of the best fishing in the state on Cass Lake - the eighth largest lake in Minnesota, where you'll find almost 16,000 acres of open water on the Mississippi chain. From northern pike and muskie to perch and crappie, you'll find an abundant supply of fish to catch.

Restaurant & Lounge



Our Canal House Restaurant & Lounge is open during the week for lunch and dinner. We are also open on Saturday and Sunday during our main summer season for a breakfast buffet. Seasonally it is open the Wednesday before Mother's Day until mid September. (Our last day is always a Sunday.)
